A man was shot and killed at a Thornton house party early Sunday morning. Thornton Police arrested 18-year-old Cesar Licon Jr. on Sunday evening in connection with the fatal shooting. He was booked into Adams County Jail. The victim was a 44-year-old man who was found outside a home in the 3600 block of E. 91st Avenue around 1:45 a.m. He was taken to a hospital where he later died. His identity has not been released.
This happened in a regular neighborhood. Thornton is not known as a high crime city. House parties happen everywhere. Someone did not make it home Sunday morning.
